IIn compliance to section 4(1)(b) and 4(2) of the Right to the Information Act,2005, the general public is hereby informed that Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology,Hyderabad, Telangana has been established by Government of Andhra Pradesh (United) and registered as a Society under Societies Registration Act, 1860.

The Institute provides technical education for catering the needs of technical manpower at the under graduate as well as post graduate level. At present, this institute imparts under graduate courses in nine disciplines and Post Graduate courses in five disciplines.
