Guidelines for Students – Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026*

1. Each team must consist of *6 students, including **one Team Leader*.
2. All team members must be from the *same institution (BIET)*. Inter-college teams are not permitted.
3. *At least one female team member is mandatory* in every team.
4. For the *Software Edition*, teams should possess the necessary programming and software development skills.
5. For the *Hardware Edition, forming **multidisciplinary teams* is encouraged to address diverse technical requirements.
6. Only the teams *shortlisted through the BIET Internal Hackathon* will be nominated to represent the institution at *Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026*.
