BIET | NCC Roles and Responsibilities

Aim of NCC:

1. To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.
2. To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation.
3. To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces

Objectives of NCC:

1. To meet the requirements expected in the latest social and economic scenario in India.
2. To Develop character, discipline, camaraderie, secular outlook, ideals of disinterested service and adventurous spirits among many young citizens.
3. To Build a pool of trained, organized, and motivated youth with diverse leadership qualities in all areas of their lives and serve the Nation.
4. To provide a healthy environment conducive to motivating large numbers of young people in India to join the armed forces.

Vision and Mission of BIET NCC:

The mission and vision of our NCC wing is to make the student community aware of its importance to nation-building. In addition, one NCC cadet has a plethora of public and government employment opportunities.

We intend to train students to be part of the Republic Day parade and student exchange program.

The BIET NCC Wing contributes to the overall development of an individual's personality and mentally equips him or her to face the various challenges he or she may face.

2. Be punctual.
3. Work hard and without fuss.
4. Make no excuses and tell no lies

Oath:

"I do hereby solemnly promise that I will serve my motherland most truly and loyally and that, I will abide by the rules and regulations of the National Cadet Corps. Further, under the command and control of my commanding officer I will participate in every camp most sincerely and wholeheartedly."

Pledge:

"We, the cadets of the national cadet corps, do solemnly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity of India. We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizens of our nation. We shall undertake positive community service in the spirit of selflessness and concern for our fellow beings."
