The one day C and C++ main workshop conducted on Saturday, 29 February 2020, through the Remote Centres of IIT Bombay by RC ID 1577 -Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology. Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology is a part of the Guinness World Record Students Solar Ambassador (SSA) Workshop, which is being organized by IIT Bombay on 2nd Oct. 2019, marking the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, wherein hands-on training will be given to students to make their own solar-based project. In this workshop, more than a million students will assemble to create their own solar-based projects all over India, making them Students Solar Ambassadors.The objective of the workshop is to show the benefits of solar technology for realtime applications.

IV year B.Tech Students of ECE have participated in the AICTE- Vishwakarma Chhatra Awards event at under the theme “AGRICULTURE AND FOOD” at regional level and won the 1st and 4th position in the same theme on 19th Nov, 2018.
The participated teams were mentored by Dr.Naveen Rathee and Dr. Vikas Maheshwari Professors of ECE department.
The Project Name “Krishi Sahaayata Pranaali(Agriculture Assistance System)” and Project “Automatic Weed Digger System” were appreciated by the jury members from AICTE, New Delhi. The both teams have moved know to the National Level to be held in New Delhi.
