Genesis of BIET

Endowed with sylvan surroundings, modern infrastructure and ambient learning environment, Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) is forging ahead to achieve academic excellence.

The Institute, established in 2001 by Chinta Reddy Madhusudhan Reddy Educational Society (CRMR) under the leadership of Sri Ch. Venugopal Reddy, an eminent educationist with a social conscience and commitment. It has grown in its size and stature over the years, from an initial intake of 240 to 1308 students. BIET is one of the largest Engineering Colleges in Telangana. It offers 6 B.Tech programs, 9 M.Tech programs and 1 MBA program. With consistent and excellent academic performance of students in the University examinations, the Institute has endeared itself to many students and parents.

Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) is situated in lush green and scenic surroundings, 18 km from L. B. Nagar and 3 km from Outer ring road. It has over the years produced many brilliant engineering students who have made a mark for themselves and brought laurels to the Country.


The Institute has achieved many benchmarks. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Hyderabad. The Institute is known for its quality initiatives which are reflected in accreditation by NBA. Many eminent academicians and dignitaries who visited the Institute have acclaimed the quality of education imparted in the Institute and appreciated its achievements since its inception.


Vibrant Training and Placement activities are the mainstay of Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), besides academics and students’ progression. Placement and Training Programs like Campus Connect in collaboration with Industries have helped in bridging the gap between Industry and academia and in providing training in technical and soft skills, which has enhanced the employability of the students. In view of this, despite global meltdown, the Institute is able to get placements for its students through sustained efforts.
